Propanol (or n-Propanol) is used for the production of normal propyl amines and Propyl Acetate. It is also used as solvent for natural and synthetic resins, insecticides, waxes, ethers, and cellulose esters. Also used as an intermediary in the production of photographic and textile chemicals, surfactants and the manufacture of stearate, oleate and propyl gallate.
